Newcastle are looking a very poor side with absolutely no confidence whatsoever. I don't like the way clubs change managers every few months but Bruce's sacking looks inevitable. He's going to take the rap for the chairman.
Chairman doesn’t care , he’s shown that in the past , there are three poorer teams than Newcastle in the League who are still 7 points off a relegation place
The Pigs and Newcastle are done. I don't think Burnley will go, West Brom have got a chance, and Fulham are putting up a fight. Brighton, Wolves, or Leeds to drop, then?
Newcastle fans are hoping he is replaced by someone like Mark Hughes - that is how low their expectation is.
Can't see Chansiri being up for bringing Bruce back after last time. Let him start the job late so he could watch a cricket match, and then did a runner at the first sight of a better job offer.
Leeds are 11 points clear of the bottom 3, I can't see any of the current bottom 3 getting more points than them between now and the end of the season. I think the current bottom 3 will go down.
I have a theory on that , I believe Chansiri allowed Bruce to go the cricket as it took in all january thus avoiding Bruce buying players & now this is being rinsed & repeated , no managerial appointment yet this month & I would not be surprised if it stayed that way until the transfer window closes , again no money being spent with no new manager there to twist his arm , they have signed an out of contract player to somewhat pacify the massive fan base but thats as good as it has got so far.
That seems to make perfect sense to be fair. Honestly, our owners take some hammer (justifiably so sometimes) however we're fortunate not to have Chansiri in charge.
You’re right, he will take it for the chairman. My point goes back to the time when Newcastle were at deaths door and needed cash investment pronto. For an upfront payment, which was thousands of pounds, they guaranteed supporters who paid, their seats for life. After the crisis was averted and money became almost no object, Newcastle wanted to pull the stand down. Supporters reminded the club that they had been promised their seats for life. This fine, upstanding club fulfilled its promise by physically giving the supporters the actual seats which had been ripped out of the stand. They took their money when they needed it and f***ed them when they didn’t. I’m an old man now and my memory isn’t what it was, so if my details are a bit off, I apologise, but that’s the gist. And now to my point. How would anybody who works for a club like that expect to be treated? If BFC had done that to any of our supporters, I swear, I would never have gone to Oakwell again.
I don't think the problem is Steve Bruce. I think it's recruitment. They don't sign flair players. They're workmanlike. It's a boring grind watching them like West Brom and Sheff Utd.
