I'm Not Saying They Are All Crap......... but I do think it's funny people always wanting players from clubs that have just been relegated. I would rather we got players with a winning mentality.
Did well with Derby but watching him get the ball and try and turn at the Leicester game was like watching an HGV trying to turn around in a cul-de-sac on black ice. And the HGV was being driven by Joey Deacon. And Deacon was pissed as a fart. And had arthritis.
Would it be better to spend say £6 to £7 grand per week on somebody like that, than 2 or 3 players on £2 to £3 grand. I do.
Again, as with Alan Lee Better than we've already got at the club (apart from Macken). However, some people will only look as far as last season at Leicester and completely ignore his scoring record at this level with Derby & Luton. The only person connected with the club who'll know whether we can afford the transfer fee/signing on fee/salary/agent fees etc for any player mentioned on this board will be Patrick Cryne. It certainly won't be any fan, although it won't stop them claiming they do.
