Collins to enact Plan C which is identical to Plans B and A, I’m no longer interested in this match I would have happily paid for ifollow but it’s no longer worth it , may listen to radio Sheffield for nowt or not bother. Probably only gonna go Saturday because I’ve paid.

 

another defeat and another step out of the play offs

 

Since the defeat at Derby on 11th November, 5 months ago, we've played 25 league games. We've lost just 4 of them.

 

This may be factually correct but we are meandering to dropping out of the play offs the already atrocious style of play has got even worse and we are losing ti bottom sides and when we win, we are scraping by. We are massively under performing not only should we get out of this league if we don’t it will be significantly harder ( on paper)!next season.
I’d say there is either disharmony in the dressing room/they don’t subscribe to Collins way of boring everyone to death or some of them, Kane, Styles, Cole, Williams have already left. I won’t shed any tears at the four mentioned as I don’t think any of em are good enough but are seen as big players who we are in danger of losing as if they are all that.
Should we go up he deserves a chance but after Northampton, the play off legs or the final and we don’t then he needs to go. I don’t think there is much dilemma in that the boardroom must know how the fans feel this season especially at home as gone.

 

Since the draw against Bolton on 5th March, we've played 6 league games and lost 3 of them.
Statistics eh.

I'm a Barnsley fan, I don't want Collins sacked, will the board be taking into account how I feel?

 

Lose tomorrow night and i would start to think we could easily fall out of the playoffs especially with our home form but if we sneak a win then the playoffs are pretty much nailed on

 

Can’t be confident tomorrow at all. We’re struggling at both ends of the pitch right now and there aren’t many choices available to change things. Lose tomorrow and we’re really looking over our shoulder….

 

Not a Collins fan but I’d only want him sacked if we failed to make the playoffs. Many people I speak to really don’t like his style of play though. I’d be interested to know how ST sales are going. I imagine fairly slow given the lack of updates.

 

Steve Evans is a very good manager at this level his sides always go down fighting.

 

I’d say if we fail to get promoted, don’t fancy another season like this.

 

Good test all round tomorow imho...not only are they difficult to break down but they are a typical 4.4.2 steve Evans side...rough n tumble ....in your face team (ahem) professional team.
We will find out what we are made of...I would be starting the more physical Cozgrove for starters.

 

A point tomorrow wouldn't be the end of the world.As always though hoping for a win.
