Well said, the man is a genius, end of. For me he is a complete player, what an engine, what a driving force, scores goals, makes goals, stops goals, tackles hard but fair, and can fall over and win penalties if need be. Also not a total ****** like Ronaldo

 

He is also one of the most miserable looking players alongside Andy Cole

 

Plus he's loyal to his hometown club, much like why John Terry will only ever play for Chelsea.

 

Doesnt always perform well for his country.

 

No but Ericsson and McLaren dont usually play him in his true position, they accomodate, which is wrong for your best player, you play him in his best position stands to reason

 

The amount of times the man hits the target is superb, you wont score all the time you hit the target as goalkeepers are bloody good at premiership and international level, but he does do brilliantly

he dives in the box more than ronaldo to cheat teams of soft penalties at least 6 times a season.
and at present he is banged up in a police cell in southport after an incident at 2.30am outside a nightclub. a true role model to the youngsters out there.

granted he is a top player, just cant believe this site is full of his 'fluffers'!!!

 

He is the greatest player in the world. The lad has it all, and some of things he's done for the club he supports, well they literally are stuff of dreams.

If only someone would realise the England team needs to be based around him, then we'd be half way there.
