every cloud and all that. has newcastle match been set yet, or when can we expect to know? Need to book 1/2 day at work.
What was wrong with it? It looked good to me. They were kind enough to let some standing fans into the more expensive seating area so people had more room and they dealt outside the ground at full time very well with some incidents that could have been much worse, like the one Barnsley fan in the purple shirt who was drunk and wanted five home fans to fight him.
I saw the kn*b in the purple shirt after the game. He got filled in by a Colly fan on the way up to the ground, never before have I seen someone as deserving of a slap as this chap. No matter how piss*d you are if you are 5ft nought you don't pick a fight with a geezer 6ft plus and as broad as tall. Had to laugh, when he got his slap heis chav mates ran to the coppers demanding that the colly fan should be done for asault. Coppers told them to eff off and purple shirt was left with a bloody nose!
Just a note on some of the reds fans in that pub near the ground on Saturday - Your all sad chav hooligan wannabee's, You did nothing but embarrass yourselves and the club.</p>
Yeah it was funny that his mates came up to move him on, thus stopping him from both another beating and getting arrested. Wobbling down the road with his arms out by his side. Looked about as tall as he was wide. Didn't see him getting attacked and so cannot talk on that.
We Were All........ thugs apparently says one fan.......... http://www.cu-fcchat.com/chat/viewtopic.php?t=19922
I agree the younger 'element were a disgrace to the club' i saw the prat get what he deserved , quality
It wasn't just the Barnsley fans ........ ....... we were in the Playhouse (Wetherspoons) in the town centre and a local thug went up to one of the younger lads on our bus and said ..... 'you've been warned'.... there was about 8 of them in there, on their mobiles and it looked like a few more of their mates were drifting in and sitting in other areas of the pub. Nothing came of it, probably because there was about 50 of us in there, 30+ of which were my size, but it was interesting that they chose the youngest/smallest to try and scare off. The police later said these lads were trouble makers and known to them and they were known for 'picking off' away fans who were on their own or in one and twos and had become isolated from the larger groups. Every team has got their fair share of idiots, including the so called smaller clubs like Colchester
Is this bloke in purple known to you lot then? Sounds like a total moron... Re stewarding, they can be pretty heavy on away fans but isn't every ground like that? We're moving at the end of the season so you'll hopefully get a chance to visit yet another flat-pack stadium-in-a-box plastic thing next season...
Hehe he comes on our board all nice and friendly when he's really a purple-shirted thug We're onto you...
