ANDY Ritchie wants to sign former Everton, Bradford City and Sheffield United forward Danny Cadamarteri in time for this weekend's trip to Crystal Palace, according to a report in today's Barnsley Star.</p>

Speaking in today's <span style="COLOR: red"><span style="COLOR: red">Sheffield Star</span></span>, Andy said: &quot;He's just what we need. He has power and pace and he can hold the ball up. I want him involved this weekend. We'll have to see what sort of deal we can make. It could be until the end of the season.&quot;</p>

able to play from this month. He actually trialled for us before he went to Bradford but we rejected him then.

 

To be fair allot of fans wouldn't be happy unless it was one from a list of about 5-6 players thrown about on this board.

Might not be the signing we are looking for BUT if he joins then the fans should back him instead of jumping on his back before he's even kicked a ball..... Be a different story if he signed and scored on his debut

 

Him &amp; Windass looked okay against us last season, but we seem to have forgotten that we are playing at a higher standard of football these days.

 

if he does a job then of course we'd be happy but given his record it's highly unlikely. He scored 2 for Bradford last year, he hasn't played a game all season and he's been released recently by Sheff Utd, Leeds and Bradford.

For crying out loud, give the bloke a break!!!!! Hate to break it to you, but the likes of Ruud, Wayne or Thierry won't be signing for Barnsley any time soon.
