Although we have lost the last 2 fixtures, we have still got sum positives 2 take from both games!!

Against forest we lost in extra time n yday we scored 2 goals!

Granted we didi not play especially well in either game...

Very true. Trailing 2-0 at half time under Davey the match would have been as good as over. Half time yesterday I was still confident that we'd make a fight of it in the second period.

From the games ive seen only West Brom and and Burnley are what id call good footballing performances. Yesterday was dejavue of many other performances where we started brightly but couldnt score and then conceded with the oppositions first meaningful attack.

Against Doncaster, Ipswich, Swansea and yesterday we have been out fought and outpassed and at times reverted to long ball tactics.

Well the defence is no better on todays showing. Any kind of pace and the opposition walk through us.
Shotton not good enough - first half crosses from the right were made at will with them getting to the bi-line far too often.
Foster far too slow. Likewise Moore.
The back 4 where simply rubbish - how on earth did they get to the bi line for the 2nd goal??

And poor Luke Steele - saves a pen and the defence are asleep again for the rebound.

The front two didn't gell either. Hulme won't score many goals in the position is he his playing - too wide too often and holding the ball up for others - he needs to get more central and we need a good 'inside" man to work with him. Gray too similar in style on todays performance.

The midfield looks a lot less lightwieght however ; has more discipline and shape and we really look like scoring and creating from there. Anderson must start tho.

Robins has plenty of work to do yet . What I do like about him is that he is not afraid to make changes if he thinks things aren't working. Doesn't wait until the last 10 minutes to sub players.Reminds me of Danny Wilson in that respect....

Father Redeye:why do you after rip the defence apart and the team. E.g shotton is good enough. foster got caught out because moore made his first mistake since robins has been here.

I thought it was Maynard that ripped the defence apart

    Not Father Reldeye.

    For the present.

Still, there does seem to be a new impetus and optimism under MR. Lets hope it turns fruitful.

    Since the WBA Game

performances have been detriorating at an alarming rate. Had SD been at the helm yesterday, I don't think many would have been hiding behind a poor refereeing display.

The playing staff seem to have been reverting to their old bad habits...
