Still buzzin about that performance last night

Absolutely immense!

Passed it beautifully and carved them open time and time again. When we lost the ball we nicked it straight back off them again.

Davies took his goals really well and is now the leagues joint top scorer. He finally looks like the 20+ goals striker that we've been waiting for since shipps.

Been a long time since I've seen us boss a game like that from start to finish. I said after 6 or 7 mins that we were knocking it about really well and we just got better and better. Just glad we didn't get hit with a sucker punch against the run of play as that may have geed them up a bit.

Cant wait till Ipswich game now. i bet they are shitting themselves if they watched that last night.

And i keep thinking of the players we've got to come back yet although i don't think any of them bar stones would get in the team right now. I think we look a lot more assured at the back without mcnulty as think he goes on far too many kamikaze runs too often and lands us in trouble.

One player i am looking forward to seeing is Silva. Didn't see him play pre season as he got injured but he sounded a handful. Any idea how far off he is to coming back?

 

Silva is training and has been involved with the development squad games, so he is nearly ready. Like you I am looking forward to seeing him, heard very good things from liverpool fans, but can't see him getting in the team atm.
