But it would be wrong to say our run is very easy. You can see trickiness in most of those fixtures, with the possible exception of Rotherham home. In the situation we are in, every game is a pressure game in terms of being playoff hopefuls. But as many have said, if tonight is our last point of the season it will still have been a magnificent effort from Big Val and the boys.
When you get in the play off positions the pressure seems different to being just outside them, it seems to mount more.
They’re all hard and difficult games. I think the Rotherham game will prove to be the trickiest. They don’t lack a fight or confidence from what I’ve seen
Imagine Readings stress levels, they've been top 6 all season and got everything to lose. If we'd nicked a winner I think it would have finished em off.
Other clubs have been talking up our run in as the easiest, but at this stage of the season I don’t think there are any easy games. Today’s ‘must win’ wasn’t even ‘must not lose’ really with 21 points still to play for. A nervy time ahead is all I’m predicting, starting on Monday at Luton.
It is...We're trying for Isla....more breaths to watch... More sleepness nights... i'll be watchin, George forever. I love you.
We see it every season, the final sprint and teams at the bottom get more points than the top ones as nerves and pressure build. I thought a point was fair, bizarre game, though we did try and play more football, especially first half, which was very welcome.
The worry is that that's three out of the last five games where teams have successfully confronted our style - and all at home. There would appear to be little chance of retaining Dike beyond the season's end. But I think the form of Mowatt, Morris and Styles may test the club's expressed resolve to keep the squad together. If we exit lockdown as planned I think it's going to be a very crucial summer for the club.
