weird innit, how people see differently. i thought it was the best performance i've seen this season. i also thought bailey was our poorest player today.

Sometimes you don't need to be brilliant to win. Huge test on Boxing Day. But the last two games have given me renewed faith/hope etc. Holgate is ridiculous.
We weren`t terrible and we weren`t flash for parts of the game it was just steady away 3 points. Do for me at this stage. Points first performances come after.
I thought we were solid throughout and never looked like conceding ( even when down to 10) mk Dons won 7-0 but still only got 3 points today . fair comment.. and its your opinion I cannot comment as I was not there... but I will say this.. old phrases yes.. "work in progress".. "on going thing".. " not the finished article"... need I go on. I feel there is progress, I also think we will for a good while be taking a step forwards and 2 mebbe 3 backwards at times. BUT I do believe we must stick with it this time. I believe in Mr Wilson and I believe he wants to make a fist of this appointment. We gave him his first managerial chance.. he left to a local rival and hurt us by that... I would like to believe he wants to repair that "Burnt bridge" I for one will 'Turn the other Cheek' and give him as long as it takes ... I am still convinced he will take us back to good times... I am not expecting the 'Ultimate Miracle' he worked in the Prem promo... but I do believe he can get us back to being a very decent Championship side again.
Re: fair comment.. and its your opinion Beat what was in front of us which was a very poor Orient team. We were average but we didn't need to be more than that.
Re: Well as an ex pro sat in front of me said 2 poor teams on show today.. Said it all for me. Not much good football played today. Still 3 points in the bag and that's what counts.
We weren't brilliant today, far from it, but we were significantly improved on recent weeks, we won and I was happy with the performance.
I thought Bailey was awful. I also don't particularly like Cranie at centre back. Holgate looks like an excellent prospect. Composed beyond his years.
