At the ref, I hope someone makes a deal out of some of those decisions. But all we'll get later from lovely personkhead Steve Claridge will be Derby and there support where amazing. Someone needs to stick up for our club as it annoys me that it happens too often and were an easy target. Weather it's we need to make Oakwell a more hostile place, or switch the ponty and north stand around so it's home fans who can have a go at the ref and not let away fans potentially intimidate the officials.
Ref was gash, totally agree! Jimbo was clearly pushed off the ball first half but shouldered one of theirs off and they got a free kick. The ref didn't help but we were gash for 70 mins so it hardly mattered....
I didn`t know that performing a shoulder charge in a red shirt is wrong and against the rules and that blatant pushing in a white shirt is legal. These refs got loadsa bumf to learn not to forget their assistants as well.
Think Jimbo was very lucky to stay on the pitch with that tackle near the end but maybe the ref took into account his utter frustration with his team mates especially Kennedy letting him chase back 50 yards to try a nd get a tackle in while the errr"full back" fell further and further back and in went the 2nd goal.
Not sure who's no show was worse. Wiseman for first goal or Kennedy for 2nd. Wiseman did worse though and dud it time and time again.
I couldn't make an opinion on the shoulder charge / foul in front of the west stand as I sit in the east upper so it was hard to tell. The Wisdom shoulder charge on O'Brien was completely fair in my opinion
Fair? He ran over and barged him over. That's a foul. Annoying thing was he was all one way, we'd do a lesser push which there player would not appeal for and they where given. The one on O'Grady down in front of the ponty and east stand corner was a shocker.
I can't say I even thought about the ref's performance too much to be honest. It probably wasn't brilliant, but that doesn't change how gash we were.
