we could have paid him an extra £1000 a week

he'd still have lacked the ability to put a ball past the first defender.

Another big headed I know best decision from Shepherd.

Shuker was always a player who gave 110% every game and a player I rate. A threat when gong forward when on form. Shame we have too many idiot supporters who like to have a go at players who try to make an impact and it occasionaly goes wrong.

How many of his critics can say Hayes or Togwell are a better option.

Theres certain things going on at the Well that I don't agree with and all I can say at the moment is that I've had a season ticket for 11 years since I was 10 and if Davey is the manager next season I'll not be renewing. His ability to pick players out of position every week is doing it for me. Theres not been one game when I've though we've had any shape under him so far and how he got the job I've no idea.

My mate's a Tranmere ST holder. Say's little Shukes runs his little legs off in the first half...

...then is knackered for the second half. He reckon's their keeper was trying a big punt up field to Shuker and ended up scoring!

Talking of little Tranmere players. I once witnessed Pat Nevin and our very own Darren -stumpy- Sheridan running side by side at Oakwell. One of the funniest sights ever!
