As it happened, it may not have made a great deal of difference. However, to hear that you 4 down by half time was just nothing short of disgraceful. All those players and even more so the so called manager of your club, should feel totally ashamed and embarrased by their 'performance' yesterday. It was insulting and incredibly disrespectful to the other teams vying for a play off spot. We hammered QPR on chances and possession but they tried their best to spoil it for us, and rightly so. Your 'team' should have also tried to do that but they failed miserably. They should be investigated for the way they totally rolled over and handed WBA a place in the play offs. I for one have lost all respect for Barnsley Football Club (I use football club in the loosest sense after yestersay's debacle). I once considered it a decent, family oriented club. If I was a fan of Barnsley, I would feel very very sad that my team had embarrased themselves and and showed a total lack of respect and integrity for other professional teams and most of all for the fans who had spent good money on going along to support them. Absoulute disgrace.
yes, so we've all had our say, some had a good time on the day out, some moaned about the result................its done, move on, let it go, stop pickin it!! (zzz)
I feel sad that we got hammered
Didn't like it one little bit.
Felt we needed to be more professional in our approach.
It wasn't to be and yes, they did, when all said and done, let us fans down BIG STYLE

Well they should have taken more than a point off us... Sorry to say it but any team who only took one point off us doesn't deserve to be in the play-offs!
Poor Stoke. No doubt rueing the 5 points they dropped in their two matches against disgraceful old Barnsley too eh?
thing is Journo and Tina Hes just an example there are a lot more fans out there saying the same thing and worse , yesterday didnt do our image or reputation one little bit of good.
RE: thing is Journo and Tina To be fair though we received a tonking several times this year and that was when we had something to play for and were actually "Trying".
RE: thing is Journo and Tina Not really interested in what other fans think... it'll all be forgotten in a couple of weeks... Yes it was disappointing but did they really expect us with nowt to play for to get owt at West Brom?! Clutching at straws me thinks. Oh... and Stoke are crap.
Who cares? It's only sour grapes because they didn't make the play offs. Lets not forget the disrespect that dirty git Lee Hendrie showed Bobby Hassle and wiped spit on him.
I agree up to a point However even if we had still been fighting for our lives I am sure we would have lost - and possibly heavily - its not as if letting 4 or 5 in has been rare this season. Also of our visits to the top 9 teams we have lost at 8 of them- the one we didnt... Stoke. Had they even got one point from us at their place it would have been in their own hands. In fact it still was they only had to beat QPR by more than Southampton beat Luton. Doesnt detract from the fact that we were very poor though
RE: I agree up to a point Southampton were playing Southend, and won 4-1 so maybe he'd like to have a go at Southend then, These results happen from time to time, you don't get other teams having a go at you for "rolling over" midway though the season, West Brom needed the win and I've no doubt no matter what they would have beaten us. Although I'm not surprised we got a pasting when I saw the defence we put out. Looks like I made the right decision in foregoing the game to play baseball on Sunday. Found out the score when we went to the pub after.
RE: I agree up to a point Started to watch the match on TV - we were abject. The midfield couldn't be arsed. Austin played like I used to. Ferenczi - oh dear me. More of that next season and that's his fee pissed away.
We are supposed to be a professional club - the performance on Sunday was anything but. When we get to 50 points next season arewegoing to chalk fckon the remaining games ?
There's a difference between being beaten by a better side and doing your best, and what Barnsley FC did on Sunday.

Sour grapes Its not up to us to do them favours. If they were any good, it would have been in their own hands.
