them with 5 mins added on, our work ethic coupled with a great finish from Stan won it.
They in comparison looked devoid of ideas, the lad Daryl Russell is far worse than owt we've got, Sidibie is also *****, ninth my arse.

Errr.......the ref!

Signals to the 4th official how long he's going to add on.

I was thinking (hoping) that the 4th official had got it wrong.

were they Very poor , or did we do a damned fine job...I prefer the latter...

Stoke were not poor in my book mate, we gave perhaps one of our best performances tonight. We hassled them all over the park, they were constantly pushed all the way back to their box on most occasions. We got our chances and stuck one away , they got their chances and WE CLOSED THEM OUT. We were not better than them but they had no answers to a side who tonight showed the kind of backbone and grit we have been screaming out for all season.... we won and we certainly deserved what we got tonight. Perhaps a draw may have been fair , and at the start I woulda taken that, but as the game wore on we grew ...grew in confidence. Both sides put some good moves together and I was entertained , they had some very good players IMHO.But our lads rose to the occasion and shoiwed just what they really are capable of. But I do believe the Hungarians and their sheer hard work is maybe pulling us out of this....one player who has had some stick was tonight very very good , and indeed saved us on one occasion...Grant McCann....tonight he was excellent. But I thought the whole team were, thgey sweated blood and ran through brick walls. Now when we get that we should be more than satisfied....I certainly am, and I am one of the worst moaners. But not tonight...well done BFC from top to bottom.

agree with you every word, and.....

...it's not often I can say that! I thought Stoke were a decent enough side, but we just didn't let them play, especially in the second half. I was thinking just before we scored that I would settle fora point and in hindsight that would still have been a good result, especially considering that they've got a good home record. The other two points are a massive bonus.

i thought they were a fairly decent side

a lot of quality in there, passed the ball very well. Thought they lacked a bit of cutting edge but you are taking a lot away from our defensive performance but just saying they were poor - we defended as a unit, every player deserves praise heaping on them in my opinion.

long may it continue.

Stoke were a decent side but their tactics were strange.

6'5" lone striker? They played 4-4-1-1 which was a strange system, particularly at home. I know they were short on strikers for the game but they looked more effective when Rooney came on to partner Sidibe giving our defence more than one person to think about. We were able to double up on Sidibe most of the time, played into our hands really.
