That's a good appointment. Even if he is in the dugout on Saturday, realistically he has only got tomorrow and early Saturday to have any influence on the team. What his appointment will do though, is have the team keen to impress him so they retain the shirt, so from that standpoint, its poor timing as far as we are concerned.
On another topic. Due to SKY television - we played last Friday night and Stoke played on Monday. So we have had two more days recovery time for our squad than Stoke have. If I were a Stoke fan I'd be a bit pissed off about that.
Swings and roundabouts though isn't it? They had two days extra to prepare for their west brom game than we had for our Bristol game which if they had any sense will have meant an extended rest
