About 3.7m if they pay 25 million, lets hope theres a few clubs that start a bidding war and goes back the 30-35 million mark
Callum Chambers - £16m Phil Jones - £16.5m Luke Shaw - £30m Basing the transfer against these deals, then surely Everton will demand in the region of £20 - £30m at the very least. The clause we've got could also help us hold out for more money for the likes of Holgate and Bree too, who surely will continue to attract interest.
All of the 'top 4' clubs are in need of a centre half and the fact that he (Stones) will tick the box of English quota is an added bonus. What a talented player he is! We should be very proud of our academy and club for nurturing these talents, although we need to make sure we need to ensure we are getting the best deal possible.
Very true! Just depends on his contract situation at the time he is sold etc I suppose. Really hope he is in the national side for the Euros.
good point, if stones goes for 30 million then maybe it could boost our other potentially good players price up.
I think he has four years left on his contract. I hope he gets back in the England side too but with Roy in charge you never know.
The articles in the sun. It states he was sold for 3m. 2 reasons to take it all with a pinch of salt if you ask me.
The big teams usually add whatever they're going to lose in sell on fees onto the top of the transfer fee. Eg if everton were offered £30 million, I've seen before where clubs have negotiated more money so they'd receive the £30 million after sell on fees. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Assuming the the selling fee is £25m more than they paid,we get none of the original cost just the profit !
