Stones Summer transfer again...yay

imo Stones needs to force himself out of Everton. No Mr Nice guy this summer.

 

I agree Phil, I think he has to move on and I think City under Pep would be a great move for him.

 

apparently he got stick from the Everton fans on Sautrday again.

He doesn't have to go to Everton again if he moves apart from away games so he needs to be a proper arseh*le.

Get the move, play under a manager that will suit you the most and challenge yourself.

Let's see how he gets on at the Euros this summer.

 

He's had a bad season and the Everton defence is more solid without him, when I saw the West Ham result on saturday I knew he must have played.

 

You do know that he was taken off when Everton were 2-0 up, don't you?

 

I think he played at right back.

With ten minutes to go they were two up (allbeit with ten) and had a penalty to lead three nil. Lukaku missed and Everton lost. All Stones fault?

John Stones is a top quality centre half.

I'd have him alongside Smalling at the Euros.

 

How? He's got a contract he cannot breach and a brand new very rich co owner which if anything will make selling him even less likely now they have alot more money than before so are even less reliant now on cashing in. If the new co owner splashes some serious cash as expected this summer then John may want to stay anyway if they show enough ambition to challenge for the top four like Leicester and even West Ham.

 

Oops, mind you he can't have been doing too well to get taken off at half-time.

I think the Stones deal could happen this summer.

It obviously came very close to happening last year and with Everton not being great and Stones having numerous injuries, add those to new ownership, they could well end up cashing in if Stones wants the move.
