EFC club statement from Kenwright. Transfer request rejected. He's going nowhere. I think they mean it.

Not fussed tbh. We'll have it next summer instead, hopefully with plenty of time in the window to plan on how to invest it properly in the championship.

Not for sale Until Everton hold out for us to give in and take 2m instead of the sell on clause

There just waiting until we become desperate enough to do it

Sky sports say they expect another bid from Chelsea still. But I can't see him leaving not this windows anyway

It is completely pointless in league one anyway. You can't use it to sign players on big wages because you only have to release them next season anyway

Which sell on clause the first or second as was quoted on here the other day. We would be mad to let them buy us out of a sell on clause.

Nonsense. They'd deny themselves £30m+ and keep an unhappy player just to deny us an extra £3m or so?? Cloud cuckoo land.

Probably for the best. That way the new manager can use the money to pay off existing contracts and clear out the deadwood

All that says to me is that he's not going anywhere until the bid is so high they have no choice other than selling him. I still think anything over £35m would see him go.

Whether or not he goes, Everton would utterly crazy to reject any offer in excess of £35m. They are simply not big enough these days to reject that sort of money - their team is deficient and their ground is woefully deficient (I actually love Goodison Park). Anyway I guess we'll see.

Two Everton fans that me and my dad were talking to last night about it were saying that they're holding out for £40 mil as they want to bank at least £30 mil after they've paid us our percentage.
