Don't think we will get hat much. It must be subject to vat at 20% so that will have to come off. Unless anyone can tell me different
If that's true that leaves us with around 6 million once that has been taken off and then the upfront money coming off too. I'd still take it
The up front money was £3 million. That won't get taken off the money we get, it'll get taken off the £53 million so won't make much difference percentage wise. So we'll get 15% of £50 mill which is £7.5, plus the 20% VAT. Looking at £6 million on the dot.
I'd heard the amount £2.2 million banded about but, anyway, as I said - around £6million. I know I accidentally put 'then' but as you can see by the amount I gave I calculated it correctly (based on assumptions which probably means we are all way out!)
Pardon my ignorance but has anyone got any solid proof that we are entitled to 15% of the profit? I've heard the figure for years and years, but I must have missed the evidence.
I'm hoping that there will be apologies to Cryne if Stones is sold and we get a nice windfall. The number of threads on here complaining about the amount was crackers.
Cryne has said it a number of times. We also get a percentage (I think 15% again) of any profit that Everton get from future sales of him. The chances of him selling again for drastically more than £53million and Everton having a large sell-on clause included in the Man City deal are slim at best though. (I think that's how it works, there's definitely something about future sales, I presume it must be out of Everton's profits as we can't have sell-on clauses for his future with other clubs).
Who has Mr Cryne told this to? Certainly in the interviews I've heard I've never heard him mention it.
