Stopping certain programs accessing the internet via my sky router??

is it possible? just following on from my last post, mi fathers getting worried and is wanting us to stop, i have but r yung un ant is there anyway of stopping certain programs accessing the net other than blocking the ports? because its easy to change the ports

 

I know it's possible to block websites or groups of websites via the router....by logging onto the router, just checked on mine and can also block services.

 

yer i have blocked all searches for torrents, just dont no how to stop them been used, cos he cud always get them sent from someone
