Huddersfield University students have had to be moved off campus. They reckon a firework probably started it, but one of the buildings there at least has burnt down.
Been told similar off two different friends I have there who don't know eachother......... Lad said something like "yeah it's proper bad and taking ages to put out, when we off to the pub next". Storthes Hall have never been on fire, played against em a few times and they always did just enough. Usually had an old guy at the back who ran the game if given the chance, good team who always seemed to finish a season much stronger than at the start.
Me Mam used to say when I was young Its a wander I am not in Storthes Hall wi yor two (me and my brother) in fact it was a common saying then.

Played for Hall Green 1sts but mainly 2nds then went onto manage first Team for 2 seasons then got the boot! Won promotion to County Prem in first season but then came straight back down season after, learn't some harsh footballing leasons...........
No it wasn't. In the paper today it said firefighters were there from 6:30 pm to 1:00 am and that it's being investigated. They had to call for backup from different fire stations nearby.
i think it was in some old buildings and not bins as i was wrongly informed. its about time shat lot earn there call out brass anyway
Shat should be caged off from the rest of Huddersfield full stop. Way too many idiots live there, although one or two people are ok (and I use that term loosely).
