Strange but true..

    Have got a vauxhall van and have trouble locking and unlocking it on my drive with remote central locking, one mate has a vauxhall astra car and another mate has a vauxhall van and both have same problem when they visit. Presume its something blocking signal.Wierd thou,anybody ever heard of that before??????????????

    Costco car park in derby, took me about 10 mins to disable alarm on mine once. Mobile phone masts apparently.

    Yes i have it on my car from time to time. Funnily enough its a Vauxhall Vectra. I never thought anything of it until you posted.

    Mi dad used to have problems locking his Vauxhall Vectra, till he bought a new key.

    Could be a radio controlled doorbell, or an outside thermometer or anything that uses radio waves of the same frequency (often 433MHz).

    In Germany there was a car theft scam exposed once a few years back where the crooks set themselves up in a shop car park with jammer to swamp the signal from car remotes. Every now and again a driver would just press the button but fail to notice that the car hadn't locked. Easy pickings from then on.

    try putting the pressy thing against your head and then pressing it and see if that helps................... saw it on top gear honest

    Tried it this aft.....

    and it worked,locked and unlocked half dozen times, went round to nextdoors coz there sat dish is quite low.Someone was in but didnt answer for some reason.I went out for an hour and when I got back it wouldn't lock.mmm

    Yes, parking in Yeovil hospital car park had that affect

    on our Vectra a few years back.

    Thank god someone else has this problem, I have a 1.2 Corsa and have the same problem.
