We were outplayed against a team that has spent millions of pounds, the team gave it their all and tried their hardest against players that are much much better than them. I thought it was a cracking effort and think their is a massive over reaction on here. If we play like that against the likes of millwall, Wednesday, donny and Yeovil we will be fine.
But just like last season. We played ok against good teams. As soon as we play a team in and around us we get ran off the park. We won't be fine
Agree, all i ask of a Barnsley team is of them to work hard. Run around after lazy, technically better players. Barnsley people used to work down mines, they used to work hard. Evidently, we need more hard work on the football pitch, we obviously aren't working hard enough. We should work harder. We need to epitmaise the working class Yorkshireman, hard work. With a bit of hard work, we should be ok.
It's obvious to me. We need to work harder on corners. Really work hard and put one into the 18-yard box. A hard worked corner. Or work smart like Andy Reid
We will never do owt.. until we start to defend corners and balls in from wide areas, with something like any consistency..also put decent balls into there danger area.We must concede 70-80% of all our goals from giving teams free headers from corners...and in any season, you can count on one hand the goals we score like that...I dont think running around and battling is the problem..
