Strange Substitutions

    lost us the game. it was ours for the taking at half time. very poor second half - no midfield

    We were pressing for the win so we took off our 2 most creative players.

    Absolutely crackers, after watching the Everton game you would have thought the manager would carry on with the positive mentality and he then does what he did against Bradford at home...
    If we don't go for it at home against teams we expect to beat then I don't hold out much hope when we come up against stronger teams away from home.

    Not strange substitutions for me. He only trusts Pearson and Scowen in a midfield two. To get two up front and two wingers it had to be Hourihane and Crowley to come off.

    Unfortunately it all fell to pieces then. Scowen had a shocker today and Pearson wasn't much better. In hindsight he might have been better taking Winnall off and leaving Crowley on. All Winnall did in the final 20 minutes was get caught offside.
