Strange thing whilst driving on the M1 yesterday

    I was driving along at about 60-65 mph in the outside lane and a car came up behind me, waving and flashing their lights; they clearly knew me and were trying to get my attention. He got really quite close and no matter how hard I tried I just couldn't recognise the driver. He followed me for about 5 miles before going past me on the inside whilst waving. I still can't figure out who he was. It must be my age.

    Is it some sort of driving code but many drivers when they wave to me, only have 1 or 2 fingers outstretched.

    Wow we must know the same people cos there i was driving in the middle lane of the M1 at 49 mph when this car pulled up at the side of me and started waving at me...though is counting left a lot to be decided cos he kept insisting there was 2 people in the car even tho I was on my own

    Heard on radio that a nutter was driving down M1 wrong way,thought I'd better phone our lass and tell her as she was driving down M1 and was a bit concerned.
    Could have dropped through floor when she replied, " there's loads of em Going wrong way"
