I was on the M5 today and stopped at Strensham services southbound. As soon as I walked in I realised the last time was 27th May 2006 when, on play-off final day I, and seemingly thousands of other reds fans were there. It was just an amazing experience, just getting inside was difficult enough, getting into the toilets took 20 minutes. Boisterous, good humoured, singing, loud - that was when the excitement of the day took off for me. I've never seen a services as full as it was that day. Anyone else experience it?
My dad bent under a fence and ripped his trousers going in there that day! Good memories of what turned out to be a fantastic day!
Yeah I stopped there with Ponty72 and a few others on the way to the game. I remember the bogs being so busy I nearly legged it outside to use a bush.
