Macken's obviously a must. But, who should partner him? If anybody?

I ask because Hume, still looks totally unfit. He doesn't look anywhere near ready to me. Personally, I'd throw a surprise start to Mostto and hope
he decides it's time to kick start his career here. Start the season with a bang and you never know from there.

Maybe Jamal Adam, is he ready?

He'll probably start with Kayo up front and Hassell in midfield, 'cos that's what he does. He's determined to do it all his way, and that means playing the team none of us wants to see take the field. Probably in a 5-3-2 formation too, just to make sure we're all aware that it's his team and his way. Till October.

    It'll be Hume

Even though he's nowhere near fit.

I for one would only play 1 upfront anyway.

    ------------------------------Steele------------------------------

    ---Van Homoet------Foster--------Moore-----------Kozluk---

    ------------------------------Colace-----------------------------

    ----Devaney--------------------------------------------JCR----

    ------------------------Leon----------Howard-------------------

    -----------------------------Macken-----------------------------

thats definately the formation id start with, maybe souza for moore, and hamoiur for devaney.

I just think, play to our strengths. We have a poor strikeforce and a very good midfield. Leon & Howard playing just off macken. Creating chances.

after saturday that's not as daft as it might sound...

not that I'm saying you're daft of course.....

and apart from him and Hume having the same build just to confuse us......

think bobby thought he was a centre forward the number of times he was up in the box.

Not bad for a right back!

Playing 1 up front away from home backfired on us last season we were very weak from the front and gave possession away far too easily because we had little or no outlet up top, I know that I would play Macken of course up top but play JCR alongside him as wing foward which will allow Devaney and Haimour to motor up the wings allowing Howard and Leon the freedom which could cause them problems. I would also like to see a back line of Van Homeot-Fozzy-Moore-Kozzy.

Why has everyone got this new found faith in Mostto, have i missed something because everytime i've seen him play he hasn't looked good enough for this league. Saw him play saturday and he didn't stand out any more than anyone else. Its just all week people have been singing his praises and i just don't know why all of a sudden...
