Just heard from a close source Ferguson has agreed to loan us Rossi - West Brom wanted him as part of the Kusacz deal but Robson was told he was already fixed up to come on loan to us for the season. Neighbour is a Man Utd season ticket holder and describes him as the most exciting player he's seen - pace, goals and more to come (Y)
This one has been hoverng for ages now. I for one think Rossi's too good to come to us but at the end of the day what Fergie wants he usually gets. We can but hope!
The more i think about this Rossi deal the more I am convinced. Fergie could pick and choose where he wants to send Rossi and maybe a club like Barnsley, where he is guaranteed first team football, is ideal for Rossi. Would also toughen the lad up.
True - remember that Becks was loaned out to Preston North End before breaking into Man. Utd's first team!
Plus he'd be a big fish in a small pond if we're honest, which would all be paret of his development. Then, just like Nardy, Ferguson will decide he's not part of his plans and we'll get him for nowt! RESULT!!!ff
Fergy as always liked Barnsley, he once was interviewed and i think he said something about his brother following Barnsley and he always looked for their results on the tv. (I'm sure someone will enlighten us all if i have got that one wrong). But has for Rossi coming to Barnsley GEEHAW FFS.There's more chance Horatio Nelson will get his eye back, or Elvis will be playing a gig at Brierley Night Owl.
I wish I could believe this, but we have heard so many false starts Rossi. Oh how I wish. I could go to bed happy tonight if that was the case Nar, we couldn't be that lucky could we? no chance!
Load of absolute B******s Was talking to a few ManUres (all season ticket holders) yesterday at my Grandads funeral. They all seemed to think Rossi will play a big part in ManUre 1st team next season. We've more chance of getting Paolo Rossi out of retirement!
RE: Load of absolute B******s Palace fans thought Togwell was going to play a big part for them next season. Doubt Fergie will put him straight into the first team with no experience on loan, whether it is with us or somewhere else.
Surely then on loan to a lower Premier league side. Palace have a new manager. Perhaps Togwell didn't fit into Taylors plans. Or perhaps it was a sweetener towards us selling them Flinders! (purely speculation on my part!)
Re: Paolo Rossi He could do a job for us in a kind of Teddy Sheringham super-sub role. He's only 49 and he's still got all his own teeth.
Well, we've had a few on loan from Man U in the past - there is obviously a connection there, so it's not like it couldn't happen, but I'll believe it when I see it with this one.
