not very mobile, very injury prone. do not think we can afford to carry a player in this division. could also result in us playing nothing but aimless long balls to him
noticed we seemed to try and hit MacIndoe alot from goal kicks, why did devaney never seem to be out on the right wing either, its like he mentally just thinks he should be down the left. Also wish he wouldnt run 10 yards sideways with the ball then decide to run down the wing allowing their fullbacks to get across to him.(doh)
I felt that Devaney hid a lot yesterday. Big question marks over him. I hope he can deliver the goods
RE: hahahahahahahaa He could also be personal bodyguard to Mr.Shepherd should things get heated later on in the season.
More chance of platting snot - come on guys, be realistic - we'll never tempt a player like that with our wage structure despite his age - he'll have turned down miles better offers than us. Think it's time we all stopped getting ideas beyond our means - Big Dunc could earn more doing after dinner speeches than playing for us. It's nice to dream but thats all it'll ever be.....plus to put the final nail in the coffin Ritchie wants to show faith in what we have got!!
I don't think big Dunc would suit our style - be a threat from corners though, and if we did have an out and out sniffer, he'd be great to play off. I know the pressure is on 'we must find a striker now', but I'd rather wait. Just because you throw money about doesn't mean you get quality. Think Mike Sheron. You just have to wait for an opportunity - how much did we pay for John Hendrie?
We've got Nardiello,
and Andy Ritchie played him so,
when he started scoring goals
he broke his ******* collar bone.....
