odd bog seem to be the best pairing we have at the moment, hopefully with the mix of pace power and finishing ability we can get our first 3 points of the season against that shower of **** from sheffield

After watch nearly all pre-season games starting to think we may not need another striker, we got boggy, macken, oddjob, macken, coulsen, hume, sodje, jamil adam all these will be fighting for 2 places. Have plenty of computition. Think Davey should use people like butterfield in midfield instead of spending on someone like charlie adam he looked more than capable yesterday.
We do need replacements for on one of wings (hopefully Hammill) & think we are in desperate need of a centre back if foster or moore are injured or suspened we only have a untested luke potter as cover.

You couldn't be more wrong. Striker needed immediately.

 

If we are to get a new striker don't you think we sould look to offload a couple then? 9 strikers way too many. Need better quality than we already have if we are to sign anyone.

 

KO and Boggy

To be honest, we've looked quieter up front in pre-season after Odejayi has gone off. Yesterday we seemed to be pegged back after KO went off and we only got one chance (which Boggy took), we just seem quieter without him up front.

 

Yep i do think we should offload. Macken and Odejaye should be gone and if at all possible Andy Gray and another brought in possibly a loan signing. Adam and Sodge not proven at anywhere near this level.

 

Agree with this he adds so much power up front which we have been missing past few years. He also got pace. Think he should be given the chance at the start of the season with boggy up front. Then Hume coming off bench until he is fully match fit n sharp again like he was showing before he was injured last year.

 

to be honest, i can't see Hume featuring much in the first team in the first couple of months, think we'll organise plenty of games 'behind closed doors' for him and play him in the development squad.

 

Anyone we bring in needs to be proven at this level - we don't want another rigters

 

By the looks of things, nobody wants Rigters

had an unsuccessful trial at Saafend last week.

 

On performances he put in for Barnsley last season think he would struggle to get non league contract. Everyone moans about KO but would have KO over rigters everytime n most BFC fans would agree.
