Good to see Odejayi in the squad, think he needs reserve football to try and grab a couple of goals.

    RE: johnson reappears

Is he playing Johnson to give him match fitness in prep for a recall?

Johnson not been included in any squads because he's been told to get match fit. Why the haven't been playing him in the reserves to get this fitness is a mystery to me.

If this is true, it is really good news and a sign of good management at the club. I get the impression that the players are regularly tested for fitness and, if their fitness isn't good enough, they are told to sort it out, or they don't play. Seems a perfectly fair way to treat a professional footballer to me. If Johnson had a bust-up because he didn't want to play in the reserves, or that he thought he was a clas above and could let the ball do the work, then good job the management disappraised him of that view. Just guessing, of course, but it makes sense that this is what happened. If he is back, I hope that he will see the professional argument and work his socks off to get fit enough to get back into the side. I hope the management have the guts to hold to their line - it is a good one.

Davey has said exactly the opposite

He said that Johnson is extremely fit and that he saw no reason why at his age he had to prove himself in the reserves.

Olofinjana bossed the midfield on Sat

there may just be a view that Johnson is a better option than Togwell in certain games. there's one coming up that springs to mind.

Last game that Johnson played was against Plymouth

And I thought he was the best player on the pitch

He did the full 90 as well,

the fact he struggled to do 45 mins in the other games has led me to believe it takes him a couple of months to get over a full game.
