The club is so stronger together that fans are having their season tickets taken off them for daring to move to an empty in the same block to sit next to a friend.
Stronger together oh aye. Petty i nthe extreme

why - cos Supertyke has found something else to complain about Cant knock the manager or players - so has a go at the Stewards?
Pretty much what I put farnham At half time a steward and another gent went over to a season ticket holder and asked for a word. Pretty much same as with Young Nudger he had to get the season ticket out and hand it over for the crime of moving from his usual seat to an empty seat next to a friend. 5 minutes of discussions followed with address, phone number etc having to be handed over as well. Not sure what happened after that. Like I said, petty in the extreme if theyve got nothing better to do
And theres the condescending attitude again Jay The performance was excellent today and the tactics were much better playing balls through the middle to our strikers instead up in the air (for the most part). Doesn't mean that taking someones ticket off them for moving to an empty seat to be with their friend is right does it?
Hmmm without knowing the full facts I cant comment really why would the stewards go to ask someone for a ticket like that - he must have done something surely -or have they memorised every seaon ticket seat and what the usual occupant looks like. Nudger I am sure drew attention to himself, I cant see why a Steward would just make a random check on an ST without something else happening to draw their attention
It certainly seemed like that He was stood mid conversation with his friend (or possibly dad) when suddenly he was tapped on the shoulder and asked for a word. He seemed pretty shocked and taken a back and the conversation definetly seemed to focus on the fact that he wasn't sat in the correct seat rather than about any agressive behaviour like Nudger.
We've just won a game, we played really well Do you come on here and congratulate the team and the manager? No, you have a go at the club and its stronger together campaign due to something that went on with the stewards. It doesn't sound like it happened to you or someone within your party, but something you sort of overheard yet you're straight in complaining. I really don't know why you support Barnsley FC because all you ever do is complain.
RE: It certainly seemed like that You would assume that for them to know he was in the wrong seat, someone must have reported him for it. I doubt they'd care enough to notice otherwise. If someone reports it, they probably feel that they have to deal with it.
Ever thought he may have been sat in a seat of someone who previously had lost / had their season ticket stolen. May have been someone using an OAP ST when they obviously weren't. Without the full facts, I can't see what your upset about.
Something must have been said to the stewards or they just wouldnt have known and probably wouldnt have cared. I'm sure there is a lot more to this story than the facts presented so far.
I sit in the wrong seat all the time. In the East Stand Lower, depending on whether I can stomach sitting with my dad. Never any problems. I would imagine the bloke in question was acting the goat.
