Yesterday Scott Malone ,had a hand in every goal ,loads of space ,never double marked ,at leeds for 2nd goal, their attacker in behind us right hand side with space again, aston villa ,their goal right hand side ,goalscorer gets almost to goal ,with no challenge, also that game time and time again ,they attacked down their with so much space,

Last season, Lloyd isgrove and George Williams/James Bree worked their socks off back and forth down the right ,stopping attacks and getting the ball down the other end in double quick time ,this season just doesn't seem to be working ,also Brownhill in his role helped out more than we realised mopping up on both sides of defence

Back to this season , Brighton 1st goal scored right hand side ,Yiadom committed up field ,lost ball, no cover gets back GOAL!, 2nd goal foul on right edge of box ,goal scored from free kick

Hope Hecky can sort it out soon ,because teams exploiting us down that side every game since the bad run started ,have other managers spotted our Achilles heel

With Lloyd isgrove he worked his socks off defensively to help out the right back. You just don't get that with Kent for their 4th Kent should have got over faster to malone but he was left to knock a pinpoint cross in for Martins to head home. Can't say I've been impressed with Kent but we have no cover in that position so he is guaranteed games.

he turns inside, so many times with yiadom ,commited to an overlap, if we lose the ball within the next passage of play, no defence at all down the right ,its scary stuff to be fair, Hecky needs to sort it out, if Yiadom overlapping use him

The thing Yiadon tends to do I have noticed is stand off people and allow them to run at him, happened against Leeds & yesterday, he doesn't seem to want to actually put a challenge in and I wonder if it's after having the pen given against him early doors. Odd that Hecky is a full back by trade but really seems to struggle in finding players that would perform that role well.

Yer I'm not a fan of that either cutting inside. Okay if it's hammill and he whips one in. Kents delivery isn't upto much either though I think they is a player in Yidom (unlike some round me yesterday "he is ****" "get him off" ect ect ) but he is getting hung out to dry in that right hand side with no help. But like I said we have no cover Janko is injured and Kent has some clause where he has to play ffs

Harsh on Yiadom, he was signed with league 1 football in mind. He's stepped up to the plate and is improving, it's a huge step up and our style of play leaves him exposed and I feel he has dealt with it as well as he can.
One of our stand out players in terms of improvement.

Symptomatic of moving up a league and playing at a better level.

Playing against better players both with and without the ball, and cleverer too.
