Lets be honest though. It wouldn't be half as much fun to be safe in mid-table from February onwards...
oh oh lee I tink i av upset the bleeding heart libs again mate, earlier post about CP, are you allright
The amount of worry that goes into things like this is completely irrational...it doesn't stop it being one of the main things I worry about...it's a load of blokes we don't know kicking a bag of air around a couple of times a week
Yes mate, hope you are good too? Don't worry about the bleeding hearts, they're too busy hugging terrorists to bother with.
It's a nightmare. Like Mr Kempes I keep looking even though nothing will have changed. I also dream about looking at league tables, which of course is rather sad. My main flaw is going back over the games where things have gone wrong (like the penalty miss against Birmingham for example) and trying to work out what the table would have been if blah blah blah blah......you know what I mean.
Works both ways though. Stones goal line clearance to secure win v Bristol. Boro inexplicable last gasp miss in 1-0 win. Just two from first two home games
The problem with that exercise, mate, is conveniently forgetting when a dubious decision has gone in our favour (eg. the Wolves shot that came down off the bar and crossed the line, but the referee allowed play to continue), or an opposition player misses a golden opportunity to score (eg. Brighton's penalty being saved by Steele). It also presents an opportunity for some people to highlight a mistake by a player they don't rate and choose to ignore, or highlight, any positive contributions said player has made.
