It's only the trophies won that counts though, isn't it?

 

You need a group that can work together, not getting in the side on reputation alone. So you dont neccesarily need the best players, but you need the best team players.

 

So the likes of jones and walker wouldn't make the team better.

In your opinion are they team players. If yes then of course they would be in the team. But they are to me full internationals no longer u21s.They have progressed.

So now is the time to start bringing through the next batch, Stones would be a good example of this.

 

Sorry but everyone else as full internationals. Norway had 70 international caps in there squad.
Isco and Thiago had international caps.
Plus a load more

 

but those players are much better than English players at the moment.

We need a full revamp. England u21s and full team are not going to be any good if english players arent playing week in week out for there clubs.

I know FIFA and UEFA are looking into a rule where if a player has played more than 15 full international caps, they wont be able to play in these tournaments for u21/u18s.

They are good players.

One of the growing line of 'great player, **** manager' types. Doesn't help that we seem to be producing fewer players up to the technical standards of many other countries. New mentality needed, better leadership required, and a restructuring of the game at all levels increasingly necessary. Pity the Premier League won't allow it and the FA are too spineless to take them on.

 

Hemsie - You do realise Jordan Henderson has more caps than both Isco and Thiago put together. Then there is Zaha and Shelvey who both have caps.
