When Kieth Hill got the sack, it turned out that one of his staff had the answer to our problems all along, but Hill was too stubborn to listen, us fans could see we where too slow getting the ball forward and that we needed to tweak things a little and get a decent striker in who could hold up the ball, when Flicker came in it was plain to see that he saw the same as us, and he acted upon it and changed our season around. But what do you reckon is happening this time, do you think all the management team are blind to the fact we need to get in a decent attacking midfielder who can link up with the front men, and a new defender who can run the back line and help the defense concentrate on defending, so we can play a formation that allows the midfield to push forward instead of baby sitting the defenders all along, or is it just Flicker that can't see this and he's got the Kieth Hill blinkers on, or is just as simple as they know exactly what the problem is but they feel there hands are tied until Martin Cranie comes back into the fold I'm really hoping they can see the problems and have a plan in place once we get our players back fit, but having watched them mess about in recent weeks they look a bit clueless to me
We played with Cranie last season and conceded too many whilst still playing holding midfielders. The biggest difference when Hill went was how we ditched the tipp tapp crap and slow play. It's come back this season...
