    Owls manager Paul Sturrock has admitted watching the 26-year-old but says the former Leeds and Millwall player is not one of his transfer targets. </p>

    He told BBC Sport: &quot;I think he is a good player but I just need a different type of midfielder.&quot; </p>

    The Irishman began his career at Leeds United and joined Barnsley in July 2004 from Nottingham Forest. </p></font></td></tr></tbody></table></p>

    He said a few weeks ago that he was looking to sign big and hard type of players probably in the Rocastle mould.
