    This is a messed up story - sounds like this kid was 'trafficked" by an unscrupulous agent who then blackmailed him to keep quiet and skimmed off his wages. Good to see he's been supported now.

    Wow, thanks for sharing.

    I have a soft spot for VFB so watch them on the box when I can (intend to take the boy for a match at some point). He’s a cracking player, adding a bit of intelligence and composure to go with his undoubted talent.

    Infact he was a pick of mine in the ‘realistic signings if we got promoted’ thread that was done a few weeks ago. In 2 or 3 years he could be worth silly money. Good luck to the lad.
