.....had we taken our chances to add the final touches earlier in the season, would have been a play-off spot.

You get what you settle for.

Realistically the play offs are not on the agenda this season.

Survival is the name of the game.

    Hypothetical question

Suppose we achieve premiership in the not too distant future, and we achieve more than we had before say 20,000 average. Do you think that that would be enough to sustain a team in that league ?, honestly now

it has the biggest prize in world football!

Premier title, FA Cup, European Cup, World Cup

Oh no, they all want to win this division!

Playoff final for this division has been dubbed the "richest prize" because of the money at stake from promotion, but hardly the biggest prize.

    I would'nt say we're aiming low

naive maybe,we go out to win games not put 10 men behind the ball, all we lack is a bit of quality to finish off the good play and a leader at the back.

Ritchie should be in a position of strength at the moment,if there has been a falling out over signing players Andy surely must use this to his advantage and force Gordy to sign the players he needs to stengthen the squad.

Have you considered what a place in the premiership is actually worth?

Pro rata , it cant be worth more than it was last time we were there. I have not enjoyed football better at any time than when we were there, but I just dont think 20,000 will sustain a Premiership team.

RE: No never. I would always give it a go

As I said I have been around a long time, and live premiership footy is just the best, its just that I suppose I am a pessimist when it comes to our potential fanbase

    That's what I was saying

Richest prize perhaps - biggest - no!
