How about keeping shirts for two years but alternating them so that one comes out every year between home and away. Does that make sense? Thus meaning the club still gets to launch a shirt every year and will still raise money but at the same time being more efficient for the fans. Am sure we used to do it a couple of seasons back, or I have heard of a club that has done this.
we dont do it and never have done or at least not in the last 10 years. peter ridsdale promised we would do but then changed his mind. clubs that do it are manchester united, arsenal, ROTHERHAM, leeds, england, just about any club with half a brain does it now
RE: we dont do it and never have done i know we dont do it now, just werent sure if we had in past, just thought it was a good suggestion to put forward on the other forum
RE: its a very good suggestion Am sure one of the moderators will see it and include it on suggestions forum
I think AM mentioned it earlier http://www.barnsleyfc.org.uk/BBS/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=1012&posts=1
feel free to edit it though citytyke to include some reference to alternating the kit releases. our club are too thick to expand on an idea themselves
RE: I think AM mentioned it earlier ok cheers, he didnt mention alternating home and away tho. thats what i was aiming at. I'll keep thinking. I got a Pink Star!!
