gets me that aswell "Only" no matter how much it is, its always only..
Beer and Pie only a quid... now thats more like an "only" offer (y)

Why not have a pint in a boozer and a steak bake from Greggs and save about a quid. Lets face it the caterers at Oakwell are stealing money with the charges. Perhaps a more sensible attitude would be pies at a reasonable price.
No idea - never buy them...if it is thats ridiculous. Refeshments at English football grounds really are dreadful
Surely somebody from the club could organise a meeting with the company and put forward suggestions. Also isnt there any way to cancel the contract if the contractor's are under performing and over charging?
Any idea when the contract is up for renewal? the existing company seems to have been there for years which baffles me considering customers opinion on them. I would have thought the club would get shut at the first possible opportunity.

I just buy a bottle of pop at the garage on way - that way I can keep the top as well so it doesn't go flat if I want to drink it throughout the game rather than in one go.
the bottle top fiasco is the worst decision i've ever heard at a football ground if they are going to continue doing that then they should adopt the policy that they have at the millennium stadium and pour the drink into a paper cup so that you can at least drink it at a normal pace (its not easy to drink a bottle quickly before it starts going flat)
I dont buy anything either anymore but I think a pint is around 2 quid and a pie is more than that (i might be wrong though)
The only thing that I buy is the advertisement directory and personal life story book known as the programme which comprises of 5 pages of BFC news, 45 of adverts and one of rob knowles' boring personal life.

RE: To be fair though I've had it at a couple of other grounds as well but at a lot of others I havent which makes no sense because I was told by a barnsley FC director that it is Football League/FA rules.
I occasionally buy a coffee at prices that, for the quantity, make Starbucks look cheap. Well I think it's coffee...that what it says on the cup.
I once bought a chunky kit kat I'm not saying it was expensive but they asked me if i'd like to pay in installments and offered to sell me a credit card at the same time.
