Seeing as there looks to be a sizeable number heading there tomorrow, could everyone, just for this once, abandon the 'scab' chants? Let's face it, a fair proportion of them won't have a feckin' clue what they're singing about and all that noise and aggression should be channelled into showing continued support for Humey. A few anti-Morgan/Sheff Utd/FA songs would be good an'all. Sam 'likes a drink' Ellis might just want to forget about it, but we have to make sure they're not allowed to!!
All that said, I'm working, so someone will have to pipe up on my behalf.

F*CK EM....once a scab always a scab...like the chant goes...until they die WATH AND WEST MELTON REDS
BARNSLEY FC AND ENGLAND OVER LAND AND SEA

But who are you singing at?? The vast majority of the Forest fans won't have a feckin' clue either!! No-one asking anyone to forget the strike - I marched with plenty of others at the time, saw friends put away for attacking folk that crossed the lines, so I know how it crippled the area. But right now, I'd rather see Humey get fit & well and those Barstewards at Bramhall Lane get what they deserve than chant 'scab' at some puzzled folk from Nottingham for ninety minutes. Grow up.
I think they know what it's about mate.
And I agree 100% that it's unlikely there are more than a handful who had anything to do with it. The chant is totally undeserved - and that's what makes it brilliant.

I think I'd be right in saying................ there may well be a few chanting who don't really know what it was all about given they weren't born at the time?
That was always my view They were scabs, so it has some historical relevance, and we all know that memories take a long time to fade in Barnsley. But since when does a football chant have to be justified? I'd be surprised if Park Ji Sung really did eat dogs, and I know full well that Ronnie Moore doesn't wear a ******* hat.
I'd like to thank all the miners for pulling our 1000 year old dry stone wall down to block roads and throw at the police. And also for using a tractor to break down all the lampposts to lay across the road. Thanks a bunch.
Blimey! I know you love Thatcher, McDog, but you're brave sticking your ahead above this parapet!! Tin hat time.
'Fraid not The lily livered people of Nottingham didn't only scab in 1984, they scabbed in 1926 as well. It's in the genes, no backbone whatsoever, so they will continue to get both barrels from me as long as I live.
That helps. I was trying to suggest something positive. You obviously don't agree, but there are more rational ways of getting a point across than puerile insults. People like you beggar belief.
