What is a "A new, experienced, commercial resource"? Is that a person or has someone bought a calculator?

    Cheers Gally.

Still disappointing that one of our 3 Directors (and seemingly Ben) don't believe a man coming in and loaning a club £75 million in exchange for a name change is a bad thing. What did the Trust have to say about that?

I do like the 'change the name to Barnsley Tykes' line being followed by 'not ripping up a club's history'.

Just a thought, re people running on the pitch. If the club are happy for kids to go on to the pitch for photos and have a run about and that, why don't they make that clear, but ask them to wait until after the players have done their lap of honour, or lap of disgrace as it would have been this season. Everyone stays behind, players come out, we all applaud each other and act dead nice and that, players go in, kids run on the pitch and the rest of us go home.

    Everyone's a winner baby, that's the truth

...............'Ben (or Barry) do not think ripping up a football clubs tradition or history because someone has a fat cheque book is acceptable'.

How can you rip up history ???..........history is set in stone, it cannot change unless people lie about it..........as for traditions, then changing a single word within a name (City to Tigers) is not in my opinion getting away from traditions.
What it is doing is trying to attract a bigger probably younger audience.
All what is needed now at Hull is a bit more success and a big club is likely to emerge there.

If the Chairman of Hull Tigers had announced that the club was moving to another city (which happens regularly in America and has happened at Milton Keynes) then of course the fans would have a point.

would love to see a new owner at Barnsley...........and a name change to Barnsley Tykes.......or Yorkshire Tykes

"A fans forum question regarding the possible use of the East Stand lift by disabled or injured fans to get to their seats in the East Stand Upper was asked. It was confirmed this is not possible due to health and safety reasons. Fans are required to be able to use the stairs in order to perform a timely evacuation in case of emergency."

Is that true? Does it apply to all high buildings? If you want to go up the Shard, for example, have you first got to prove you can get to the top using the stairs? Are there no disabled people working above the ground floor in the Gherkin? If you're a bit doddery on your feet are you not allowed an apartment above the second floor in a block of flats?

    Yours, Mr S. Ceptical

I like Ben Mansford but he does talk some **** - the players never intended going back out to the fans.

Every season the invasion happens and every year they come out (Until we get relegated) and yes it takes some time to get the fans to go back to there seats but funnily enough they couldn't wait this year

He might fool some on here but not me .

The interesting bit for me is 'security wouldn't allow the players back on'.

They should have walked to each of our houses to say thank you after this season of ****. What's the justification for not allowing to share the pitch with mere paupers? Someone has a gun? Or sneaked a Cola bottle top in? Daft.

I think some people would agree with you but others would vote for a name change if it meant we could attract permiership "stars" to Oakwell. Would you get a majority in favour - I've really no idea. A straw poll at a Trust meeting would be interesting but I suspect a demographic containing younger level of supporter would give a different view

Should be good that. I guess they will have some sort of reward points scheme that get put on your card. So say you go watch us play Yeovil away on a tuesday night you get 300 points. But Sheffield United on a saturday 50 points. STHs already start with X amount of points and get so many added per league home game during the season. Non STHs can also get points. Then if we get not so many tickets for a game it's easier to see who deserves to be next in line for tickets.

Don't normal lifts say do not use in the event of a fire? (I think there are such things as fire safe lifts - prehaps thats what they have in the shard). Other issues with that one at Oakwell is that it takes about half an hour to get from the bottom to the 2nd floor and it doesnt under normal operating mode go any further than this anymore. (I dont know if it can be made to go further by way of a key but I have been told not)

The players were definitely in the tunnel waiting to come out.

I'm sure it involved a health and safety "risk" decision based on the fact we had just been relegated and someone didn't want it to be on their head if something happened to a player. Ridiculous but that's the way the world works these days.

lets me honest though Gally they were waiting for the 1st excuse not to bother,

Like i said this happens every season and never been a problem

And yes they might not have wanted to come out knowing they had just been relegated but we still went to the game with nothing to play for.

And to be called an idiot by BFC staff is terrible - What did Ben intend to do about this comment other than say he wasnt happy. Im pretty sure Dave Clayton will be there next season
