Entering a Fabtasy Football thing based on the Sun Dream Team prices, but with less available money.

Any tips on good value players / ones to avoid?

Go for players from teams that will be playing European football, as all those matches count, as can give you a real advantage, players from:

    West Ham - (Adrian, Payet)
    Southampton - (Fonte, Tadic)
Man Utd - (Blind, Depay, Ibrahimovic)
    Leicester - (Huth, Mahrez)
Man City - (Stones, Aguero, De Bruyne, Fernandinho)
Arsenal - (Cech, Ramsay, Sanchez, Ozil*)
    Spurs - (Lloris, Rose, Lamela)

The above players I've picked out, I think represent good value (or are just must haves, like Aguero for example - Ozil, I'm not convinced his head is in it at the minute, with rumours of him wanting to move back to Spain, so tread with caution).

    Good luck!

Depay n Lamela wont feature too much.

Take a risk or too. Likes of Ramirez or Negredo or Rhodes at Boro all cheap.

Remember there are no transfer windows but you can make three changes per calendar month and given August is only a couple of Saturdays that is the time to experiment a lottle

Try also to pick regular first teamers too.

Shaw is good value at Man utd at 2.5million.

Pochettino is a big fan of Lamela, and with Alli suspended for the first three games, he's pretty much guaranteed a start - capable of some real brilliance on his day, and as done really well in pre-season. Scoring against Juventus and Inter Milan, as well as setting a couple up, so he's been pretty much their star man in their friendlies.

Depay is admittedly a risk, however, with a season under his belt, he may get the opportunity this year to really go out and prove himself, but again, tread carefully.

Is the transfer window thing a new feature? There are normally three windows spaced out over a few months throughout the season - is the monthly change new for this season?

    You're quite right, my apologies.

Still, I expect Lamela to feature prominently, so he'll definitely be going in my fantasy team.
