    0-0 at half time. Poor. Guiseley playing some nice stuff. Smith's getting the run around at full back and has terrible hair. Started with a diamond, no width. Just changed it before half time , Winnall off for Abbott, Wilkinson up top, 5 in mid.

    0-0. Pretty terrible. Roberts looked promising. Mawson didn't really impact on the game in defensive midfield. Guiseley knocked the ball around far better.

    One up front in a friendly at Guiseley? Wonderful. That said I guess we have so little options up front what choice do we have. Not worried over pre-seaosn results, although very worried about the lack of any apparent attacking creativity or game plan. Many recruits needed, few expected! You Reds!

    A lovely evening, a poor game. Was impressed with their no7, easily best player on the night.

    Mawson on that showing will be a CB.

    Yeah, there number 7 was good. Not great when he cut inside but Smith struggled with him, although I think there overlapping full back helped.

    Just looked at the starting line up. 5 defenders, 4 forwards of various descriptions and one midfield player. It's little wonder we struggled.

    Offloading Berry and having Bailey twiddle his thumbs is looking ever more ridiculous.
