    <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">12.01.2007 BARNSLEY FC can confirm that a deal has been agreed with Port Vale Football Club for the transfer of striker Leon Constantine.
    Reds striker Marc Richards will move to Vale Park as part of the agreement.
    The deal is subject to both players agreeing personal terms and completing the formalities of a permanent transfer, including medicals.
    Constantine started his professional career with Millwall and had spells with Leyton Orient, Partick Thistle, Brentford, Southend United, Peterborough United and Torquay United before arriving at Vale Park in November 2005. The 28-year-old has netted 30 goals in 67 games for the Valiants.
    Marc signed for Barnsley in August 2005 and has made 74 first team appearances, bagging 17 goals.</p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal"> </p> <p class="MsoNormal">16.01.2007 BARNSLEY manager Simon Davey hopes to find out whether his bid for Leon Constantine has been successful in the next couple of days.
    Leon was at Oakwell for talks with his agent yesterday and will make a decision ahead of this weekend. Reds striker Marc Richards has also held talks with Port Vale about a switch to the League One side.
