10/11 ish spoons brekky with a pint or 2 1 ish cabbage in garden watching yorks v lancs 6pm shi sha & a sho and on it at 6-30 day off monday ;-)
You'll have missed ten minutes of the build-up... I'm working. Scottish Open golf. Stuck in here till about 10pm... Probably as well - back in Monday at 9am
I'm isolating so can't watch match with my mates tomorrow- upside my isolation allows me to be off on Monday
Ditto. Although, I'll be working from home on Monday unfortunately. And to top it all off covid has decided to strip all my sense of smell and taste so not even sure I'll be enjoying a beer with the match anyway. Not how I envisaged watching the final! But looking forward to it regardless.
That's some going ! When "shi" it takes me ages cos I like to read a book. 20 minutes at least. Do you shi before sho or vice versa?
Been up over a hour been out with both dogs.now in shed on allotment having a brew. Bit of pottering on here then it's to dumpit then get some straw and onto horses and deck them. Then garden and allotment for a few hours. Take dogs again for a good walk get ready and out at teatime. Djing still not made my mind up where though for build up and after party. Definitely playing Cocoon and Timerider when England do e out sent everyone fking ballistic when I did last weekend. Our lass on other hand still bed and will still there until she wants to get then she's out with all sisters, daughter grand daughter and rest of girls in clan. I don't mind doing all jobs whilst she's restig as she's got cancer. Recovery tomorrow then back to work Monday night for rest.. Sorted!!!!
Do a bit of mowing this morning then maybe call in at the cricket for an hour before getting my second covid jab this afternoon. Early evening with some friends down from Dublin at the South Pole Inn then back up home for the match. Just hope I don't get a reaction from the jab.
I'll try to get to bed early (it won't work) and then up at 4:15am ready for the 4:30am kick off. I have booked Monday off. I'm wondering whether to get my 9 year old son up. He isn't that interested in watching football, largely because it is all on during the night so he hasn't been exposed to it. But if I found out that England had been Euro champions (hopefully) when I was nine and I hadn't been watching it I'd be a bit put out. These things tend not to come around very often. We'll see. Perhaps this has come a little early for him. He doesn't realise the gravity of it all. Then again, I think it has come a little late for me. I can't help but think if I was back in my twenties or thirties now I would be really pumped for today. Now I'm older, living away and a bit more apathetic to it all.
get him up. Even if it bored him stupid or he falls back to sleep it's history shared between you. He'll enjoy the excitement. Memories are precious and much better for being shared.
