According to this they have anyway: http://www.sunderlandecho.com/sport?articleid=3020229 It was only a matter of time :'(
Not to worry you have signed Trevor Sinclair, I haope you have "ring-fenced" your income.</p> "Whats that coming over the hill , is it administration?"</p>
Strange signing admittedly but Eh? We're debt free following a takeover at Christmas, turned in a £1m profit on trading last year, rejected bids in excess of £1m for two of our kids (one of them a 16yo who's only played 2 mins in the Championship) and a new stadium currently under construction. Administration
Yeah if we had shown some ambition and signed up like he wanted to sign, the players wanted him to sign and so did the fans, we would have been quids in. We wouldn't have got anywhere near 5 million for him, but we would have got 2 or 3 million I reckon.
Booed For Scoring? I cannot say I remember that. I do however remember a player with a huge reputation not doing much in his first dozen games two leagues below, but who when he started scoring was adored by the fans. We didn't bid for him so that might have something to do with why he didn't come here.
Trying to compete with Ridsdale on wages pointless. hence Seth laughing outside his office at "30 grand a week, not a penny more."
Agreed, the Club did the right thing I'm just saying that to say that its the fans fault he didn't come makes no sense. Every club has its share of dickheads.
You slack ****** Hart played him wide when he first came here - not his position.</p> Get to Oldham and explain yourself shithouse.</p>
