    Sunderland apparently asked for Ched Evans to be recalled so they can sign him. Hopefully that will put an end to their fans arrogance that they can sign Moore for peanuts and our fans for think we’d sell to them.

    Also what a move by them replacing Maja with Ched Evans :D

    Evans was proven not guilty of rape - what he wasn’t proven not guilty of was being a thoroughly odious human being.

    I never mentioned if he were guilty or not guilty.

    I didn’t mean this by anything that’s happened outside of football btw, I mean just in my far from expert opinion he isn’t good enough anymore. If he was brought here as a replacement for Moore I would be hugely underwhelmed.

    Can't say I'm a massive Evans fan but at the time when he came out of jail some do gooders didn't want him to ever play football again even though at the time Plymouth had a keeper in net who killed 2 children drink driving on a motorway. And then he went on to be proven not guilty.

    The Doncaster rovers player received a suspended sentence and pleaded guilty . Not sure of the severity of the assault as no details.

    Which part did I say they did? But if Evans has done his time why the need for further punishment?and to top it off he was cleared.

    A lot of Sunderland fans aren't too keen judging by their forum. Thank they'd rather have Moore.

    I'd rather have a range rover but can only afford a ford mondeo. Looking at it they are been linked to plenty of strikers matty Taylor at Bristol, ched Evans, marquis at Donny. It would be funny if they did sign marquis.

    Because I didn't see the same witch hunt when Plymouth also re signed him. Aswell as that Evans was eventually cleared I'm sure he would have felt hard done by he can't play again but a child killing drink driver is fine....
