Come on get yourselves up for this one today its what everybody who has endured the last 4 years of torture has wanted. Remember how it felt at hudders away? on the way out my brother said t me 'thats the best thing thats happened to me for 10 years!' There are too many pr***s on this board ready to slag the club at any opportunity just cos they read summat on t'internet or teletext. Get behind your team f**k everything else. get a life instead of sat on internet all day waitin for some news about who we are supposed to be signing. There are 46 long games to go before we are gonna be stayin up or goin down. many many players could come and go by then (but probably wont) so GET BEHIND EM!
that is a superb post luka old pal we need everyone behind em today and all season the fans need to pull together again, up the reds!!
RE: Well said - couldnt agree more n/t Yeah correct with everything. There will be people today on here who will not go to the match for whatever reason. But if we lose still feel the need to slag the team off when they only know what their heard and didn't see.
I argue with people who I sit next to at matches. Let's not pretend that seeing it is a defining moment, 'cos most fans know f**k all.
This is where I get confused When listening to the commentary we are listening to the commentators interpretation of the game and we base any of our opinions on that. Just like we do when reading the posts from people that were there. I can't understand why people that have been to the game think their view is better or more believable than the opinions made by the commentator. Afterall, he was there too. At the end of the day we all see things differently.
RE: This is where I get confused Well I go along so far with you, BUT by the same token, commentators are in fact paid journalists that specialise in sport, some are very good and some are spotty wet behind the ears kids who quite frankly know nowt, and I wouldnt pay them in washers..........
RE: This is where I get confused I doubt they'd let you pay them in washers. They make transactions a bit difficult. "That'll £1.76, please." "Do you have change for an Indesit WIDL126?" "F**k off weirdo."
Agree with the sentiment. But it's important to remember that the board is not the "club." In most cases impatience with the board is born out of passion for the club and the most vociferous people are usually amongst the most ardent supporters. That said I'm confident myself that we'll improve the strike force with loan signings before the months out so I've no complaints.
